In line with its commitment to innovation, TM Real Estate Group was this year, again, present at the 26th edition of Fundeun’s New Business Ideas Awards Ceremony, sponsoring the ‘New Business Opportunities Associated with Residential Tourism Award’.
The winning project was Ilumit Smart Technologies, devised by the entrepreneurs Jorge Luis Sánchez Hernández and Ismael Abu Khraybeh Berna, who received the award from Ángeles and Pablo Serna, Chair and CEO of TM Real Estate Group.
Ilumit designs solar-powered outdoor lighting, creating paths, walls and all types of outdoor surfaces that are capable of absorbing the sun’s rays to later light up the spaces at night. Innovating in the field of energy efficiency and sustainability, it reduces the carbon footprint and maintenance costs of the illuminated zones and creates unique spaces with an elegant and tailored design, adapted to the needs of the client.
It was a very special evening with around 120 guests, all members of Alicante’s social, academic, political and business community who wanted to show their support by recognising the efforts and talent of the prize-winners.
Fundeun’s history stretches back 31 years and, for 26 of these, collaborating companies have supported a total of 1,337 projects, fully aware of the fact that without innovation there is no economic or social advancement.
All of us here at TM wish to congratulate not only the 10 winners in the various categories, but also the 35 finalists, for the vision and boldness driving them to create new, innovative projects, and to thank FUNDEUN for the magnificent work it does.
