As summed up by the motto of our 50th anniversary, the TM Real Estate Group continues to broaden its horizons.  An example? Our fantastic ‘Playa de la Cola’ project in Águilas (Murcia).

The first objective: sustainable urban planning

Playa de La Cola is an urban development plan with a strong identifying characteristic: the project is a true example of sustainable development. Proof of which are the 270,000 m2 of public green areas in which more than seven kilometres of scenic routes are included along natural trails, equipped with viewpoints and picnic areas. It also has 130,000 m2 of public parks and gardens, 2.5 kilometres of bike lanes and more than 400,000 metres of open spaces.

Creating employment

But the project’s main feature is the creation of a coastal park with sport and leisure areas, which will be completed with a plot for hotel use and the development of more than 2,000 tourist rentals, which will make Águilas a non-seasonal destination and a generator of employment and wealth. Not in vain, this plan will create more than 500 jobs annually. 

Finally, another of the plan’s highlights is that it also includes a beachfront parking lot that will accommodate a total of 3,484 parking spaces, as well as a boulevard with two lanes in each direction with direct access to Calabardina’s town centre.

Counting down the days to 2020
