Majorca is world renowned for its beaches and coves with crystal clear waters, dreamlike landscapes with cliffs and pine forests in the background. Here are the best beaches and coves you have to visit if you travel to Majorca on holiday.

The island of Majorca has more than 500 kilometres of coastline, with countless coves and beaches to lose yourself in. We have selected 10 of them that you must visit no matter what.

Alcudia Beach

This beach is one of the longest in Majorca and one of the best on the island. With its shallow, white sands and crystal-clear waters, Alcudia beach is perfect for a family day out, visiting with children and enjoying a good swim. It also has a marina with a variety of services and an extensive promenade, great for family strolls.

Es Trenc Beach

This is one of the best beaches on the island of Majorca and one of the most famous. It stretches for more than 2 kilometres and is surrounded by pine groves, dunes, hills and salt marshes that will enchant any visiting tourist. It is located in the natural area of the Es Salobrar marshland, a protected area of some 1,500 hectares, one of the most beautiful in Majorca. Additionally, our residential complex Es Molí d’Es Trenc is 300 metres from the Es Trenc beach.

Mondragó Cove

In the heart of the Nature Reserve, very close to the S’Amarador and Es Burgit Coves, Mondragó Cove is one of the most beautiful places in Majorca. It is surrounded by rocks, pine trees and vegetation, and its shallow, crystal clear waters make it perfect for a good swim. It is one of the locals’ favourites!

D’Or Cove

The d’Or Cove, known as the golden cove, is located on the southeast coast of Majorca. This cove is perfect for families and boat lovers. The small white houses in the background are set against a backdrop of beautiful nature and the turquoise blues of the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, our Pinars de Murada R-12 residential complex is very close to this cove as well as to others such as the Murada Cove, the Majorca Coves, and the Mendía Cove.

Des Moro Cove

Between two giant rocks, this cove looks like a swimming pool with crystal-clear, turquoise waters and is one of the best in Majorca. Its mere 30 metres make it one of the most sought-after and beautiful on the island. Be one of the first to visit this secluded cove, with views of the cliffs that will leave you speechless. Take a dip in this exceptional environment!

S’Almunia Cove

This is a beautiful cove, located in an old fishing village full of white houses around a small jetty. This is another must-see cove that you should visit if you go to Majorca. Its crystal clear waters are spectacular. Out of the water though, you will have to find a spot on a smooth rock, as there is not much sand in this cove nestled among the boulders and pine trees.

Formentor Beach

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Majorca, as it is in one of the most hidden unspoilt spots in the north of the island. Its crystal-clear, calm waters make it one of the most peaceful beaches with views of the islet and its Formentor Cove. We strongly recommend that you visit the Faro de Formentor lighthouse to appreciate the views of the natural surroundings and the sea.

Muro Beach

With more than 5 kilometres of beach, this is a favourite for families who visit it for its wide variety of contrasting leisure options. The waters are clear and shallow, suitable for children to swim in. In the surrounding area, you can find plenty of restaurants to enjoy local food, and hotels on the beachfront. This magnificent beach is located just a few kilometres from our Sant Pere Collection by TM residential complex.

Sa Calobra Cove

In the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range, between two 200-metre cliffs, you can glimpse the Sa Calobra Cove. It’s difficult to get there, but not impossible, either by boat or by car along a winding road. The spectacular scenery surrounding it will leave you speechless; its location is unequalled and its small stones together with the turquoise water make it unique in Majorca.

Mitjana Cove

This small cove has white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters and is surrounded by rocks and vegetation in an idyllic setting. It is located in Felanitx and is not easy to get to. To get there, you will have to park your car and walk for a kilometre. The journey will be well worth it though, as the waters and the natural surroundings are a dream for lovers of the sea.
