At this point in the year you may well have already decorated your house for Christmas. The tree, the lights, the nativity scene, the plants… Whether you have already decorated your house, or have left it to the last moment, knowing the trends for this year will surely be of use:

1. Rustic decoration: In a year in which natural decor has played a big role, there is no reason why Christmas should be any different. Wood, ochre tones, warm greens… Combining them will give you a natural effect.

2. Pink shades: This is another trend that also lends itself well to a natural and relaxed feel. Roses come in many shades, but here opt for cosmetic, powdery tones… If you are seeking a soft and sweet look, this undoubtedly has to be your choice.

3. Silver and gold: A classic that never fails. If you want a more sophisticated feel, but with a modern touch, go for silver and gold. This will also enable you to achieve a very beautiful result without necessarily being a great decoration expert.

4. Blue and gold: This colour combination is less commonly seen, but lends a very modern touch. Indeed, blue and gold are in fashion and combining them will give you an up-to-date and very stylish look.

5. Nordic style: Nordic style has been with us for several years now, but it never goes out of fashion. White, grey, stars… A great option if you don’t like overly heavy surroundings.

6. Classics that never fail: Who doesn’t have red, green, and white decorations at home? No matter how many years go by, this classic never fails. Don’t want to take any risks? Simply get these decorations out of storage and have a traditional Christmas like you always used to.

7. Lighting: Whichever decorations you choose, you can’t forget the lighting. Candles, fairy lights, garlands… Light always takes centre stage during the festive period, so don’t leave them out. We recommend you opt for natural tones, but if you feel more daring, why not unleash your creativity with coloured lights.
