TM Real Estate Group was a prizewinner at the 35th edition of the Diario Información “Importante” awards, scooping the “Importante award for the month of October”, during last night’s ceremony at the Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante (ADDA).
Over 2,000 people, made up of members from all sections of Alicante society, attended the ceremony on Thursday 20 February at the ADDA concert hall in Alicante.
Juan Antonio Ruiz de Zuazo, managing director of Prensa Ibérica for the Community of Valencia, presented the award to our CEO Pablo Serna, who, grateful and visibly moved, paid tribute to his father, the company’s founder, José Luis Serna. Words of thanks were not in short supply during the evening, in particular for the entire TM Group HR team “for their commitment to the company that has played a fundamental role in its 50 years of exemplary business achievement”.

The ceremony, hosted by Generalitat president Ximo Puig, was attended by many representatives from Alicante society including those from the worlds of politics, culture, sport and business, who acknowledged the achievements of the 14 award winners. Javier Moll, president of Prensa Ibérica, opened the ceremony by highlighting “the extraordinary contribution of the winners in making Alicante better and more prosperous”.

For his part, the Generalitat president Ximo Puig, emphasised that there was much to learn from all of the award winners, making reference to each one and highlighting “the business flair and local awareness of TM”.

Following the speeches and the presentation of the awards for each of the months, the ceremony concluded with a family photo preceded by a spectacular performance by the ADDA Symphony Orchestra, who performed a concert of music by Dvořák. It was a night to remember and being acknowledged as an Alicante business committed to the region filled us with pride.

Music from the ADDA Symphony Orchestra, with its 43 musicians conducted by Josep Vicent, was the soundtrack to the ceremony, performing music from works by Dvořák and Shostakovich.
