TM will sponsor the team for the 2011-12 season! 

TM and Torrevieja Football Club have signed an agreement naming the award winning developer as official sponsor of the team for the 2011-12 season. The presentation ceremony was chaired by the Councillor for Sports & Education, Daniel Plaza, together with the President and Vice-president of Torrevieja F.C., Vicente Boix and Antonio Serna and representing TM Real Estate Group, General Director and International Sales Director Pablo and Jesús Serna.

“For Torrevieja F.C., this is a very important moment,” said Vicente Boix, “also for our project to create a Torrevieja for everyone to enjoy, and it’s nice to see that we are now beginning to receive really significant local support.” He went on to thank the support of Torrevieja Council and TM as the main sponsors of the Club.

For his part, Pablo Serna, General Director at TM, explained how this sponsorship deal forms part of the company’s package of social responsability initiatives, highlighting that while TM has had social links with Torrevieja, through its headquarters based in the town for the last 30 years, these ties have recently been reinforced. The launch of a new development near the beaches of La Mata, marks the return to TM building in the area, with an investment of over seven million euros.

He went on to say that this support will “help Torrevieja climb to the top spots in the Third Division and, why not? Get promoted to the Second Division B”, stressing the importance of having the team well placed in the league as a reflection of Torrevieja as an important tourist destination both on a national and international scale.

The presentation ended with the symbolic handing over of the official team shirt, bearing the TM logo, to the Councillor for Sport, Daniel Plaza.
