Opening of new road linking Mar de Pulpi to San Juan de los Terreros
TM is conducting the work and, once completed, the roads will be handed over to the Andalucia Regional Government
On the 22nd July TM Real Estate Group opened a section of the A-332 road which gives access to Mar de Pulpi from the town of San Juan de los Terreros and also connects with the AL-7107 on the Almeria Coast.
The mayor of Pulpi, Juan Pedro García, together with representatives of the Andalucia Regional Goverment (Junta de Andalucia), sub-contractor Napal Technical Services Ltd (Servicios Técnicos Napal S.L.) and Manuel Fernandez-Figares and Cristobal Ruiz, Construction Director and Head of Urban Planning for TM respectively, gathered at Mar de Pulpi for the signing over ceremony.
In his speech, Mr. Garcia expressed his appreciation to TM for its “commitment to the development and promotion of the area in which we have already invested over 25 Million Euros and of which infrastructure like this road forms a part.”
Speaking about the road and the work TM had carried out, Mr. Garcia said that it “represents an important improvement both in safety and access to San Juan de los Terreros,” before referring to the project as a “great example of cooperation between governments and other organisations at both local, regional and national levels to make this project a reality.”
