TM continues to collaborate with various organizations in the Vega Baja and other regions of the Alicante province to support different care programs to help the most vulnerable groups in society.

Since mid-January, we have been in contact with different social organizations and residences for the elderly to donate citrus fruits, contributing to fresh fruit and vitamin C consumption, an initiative that has been well-received.

Donations come from one of the farms in our agricultural division, located in Los Montesinos, and will continue periodically as an when productions and harvests permit us to do so.

To date, about 3,000 kg of oranges and lemons have been distributed in the towns of Guardamar, Elche and Alicante through the Red Cross; and in Torrevieja, through the local assembly of the Red Cross, Alimentos Solidarios and three centres for the elderly. We would like to thank each and every one of them for letting us collaborate with them.

Overcoming the social and economic consequences of the crisis is a great challenge. In these difficult times, it is important that we all collaborate with the means at our disposal. Joint solidarity is more important than ever, and we must strive together for a better future for everyone.
