The Beaches
Opposite the estate is the Xcalacoco beach, which derives its name from Mayan civilisation, meaning “twin coconuts". This is a beautiful Caribbean beach with white sand, emerald waters, and only 200 m out to sea is the end largest coral reef in the world, running parallel to the beach.
Amenities
In nearby Playa del Carmen you can find all kinds of services and entertainment: shopping centres, chemists, hospitals, restaurants, cultural attractions, adventure sports and diving around some of the most spectacular coral reefs in the world, etc. Next to the resort now under development is the Grand Coral golf course, which boasts an ancient Mayan pyramid within its perimeter. 5 km south is PlayaCar golf course, and 1 km north lies Mayacoba Golf, famous for hosting exclusive US golf circuit events.
